It doesn't really look like smudge tool work when seen up close, and that's a good thing. The colors are tranquil and pleasing, and I like how the wight of the image is coming from one single corner and, like, washing over the whole thing. There are a lot of different color/contrast levels up in that deep blue as well, so it keeps it from being boring. All in all, a good showing, my friend.

I'd change your font in the lower left-hand corner, though.
